Christopher P. Thurin
Biography

Chris Thurin is the founder and CEO of Benefits Resource. He founded Benefits Resource in 1992 with the goal of providing uncommon service, advisory support, consulting and negotiating expertise for clients. The formula has been a success and Benefits Resource has grown in each and every year since 1992. The Benefits Resource companies include CPT Insurance Services, Inc., Thurin Insurance Services and CPT Retirement Services, Inc..

Chris is a graduate from the University of California at Riverside in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology. He speaks frequently to executive and human resource groups on the topic of controlling healthcare costs and other topical issues. He is involved with the community in various ways including serving on the Advisory Board for University California at Riverside and as a board member for Southland Opera focused on children's education and outreach programs.

When Chris isn't working you will find him spending time with his wife and two children in Laguna Beach California where they have lived since 1995. Chris enjoys spending time with his family, surfing, skiing, camping, backpacking, hiking and traveling.
