Bill Thurin
Biography

Bill Thurin has 32 years experience working in the insurance industry. In 1999 he left his position as a Regional Director for a Fortune 500 insurance company to join Thurin Insurance Services, a Benefits Resource company located in Ontario, CA. Prior to working in the insurance industry he taught high school mathematics and physics. His sons, Sean and Chris Thurin, made him a junior partner of Thurin Insurance Services in 2001. For Bill this was a dream come true because he is doing what he truly enjoys with the people he loves. The part of this business Bill enjoys the most is being able to negotiate the best contracts for his clients at the lowest cost while knowing that all the benefit needs of the client and their employees are being met.

Bill is very active with the Ontario Chamber of Commerce having served as Chairman of the Board during the year 2005-2006 and is currently the Vice Chair of Finance. Bill is also active with Cursillo in Christianity and serves as the Lay Director of that movement in the Catholic Diocese of San Bernardino. His sons and their wives have blessed him with 8 grandchildren. Bill's free time is spent RVing locally and cross country with friends and family, boating and teaching his grandchildren to water ski.
